Bryan has been devoted to dachshunds his entire life. When he and Peggy moved to the countryside of Crystal River, Florida, they made a decision: build a program worthy of a breed they adore. AZ Doxies was born from that intention — not from a business plan, but from passion.
Every dog at AZ Doxies lives inside their home as a member of the family. No kennels. No corners cut.

Every breeding dog is tested for CDDY/IVDD risk, PRA, and other breed-relevant markers. No shortcuts.

We evaluate topline, body balance, and movement. Sound structure protects every dachshund's spine for life.

Stable, affectionate personalities are a non-negotiable. Our dogs are socialized from birth inside daily family life.
